Now we are already just 4 but last week we had a visitor from home. Sabrina, Julex girlfriend. It was a nice and funny time with her. Unfortunetly she was just for 2 weeks here and now she is already back at home. But whatever together we had a nice time and so we went to a icehockey game in the first february week.
Icehockey is the national sport in Canada. It's like soccer in Europe everybody like it. We live very close to the stadium. It's just 5 minutes by a short walk. So we can see the stream of people which moves forward to the stadium every game night.
In side the stadium you have a fan shop, you can bet on authographs, buy food to expensive prices. So nothing unusualy so far. The stadium had space for about 4000 people.
Kelowna plays in the WHL that's a league for young talents and player to the age of 24.
But if I'm honest the opening show was the best. There was a lasershow and some tatata. The game self was not so exiting. The stadium was sold out but the athmosphere sucks. Just by a goal or a fight the peole stand up and made noise. The game was clear from the start to the end. After the 3 periods Keloowna won with 5:1. At the end of the game was a crazy fight with 8 players involved. That was funny because after the fight a guy must seperate all the equipement on the ground for each team. that looked so redicoules. But wahtever it was a nice evening and a good experience but I would not go secound time.

Hey,

In the first January weeks we decided twice to do cross countrysking. We took the car and rent us the equipment in a sport store. That was really cheap. It was just 15 dollars. Compared with snowboarding the price was amazing. We load all the equipement in the camper and drove out of the city in a forest on the mountain.
There we unloaded all the ski stuff. The bindings clicked in. There we go. The weather was fantastic. Fresh and deep snow under the skis. Awesome! The forest looked like in a wounderland. The trees with all the white stuff looked so beautyfull. On the trail we were almost alone.
Except from some skidoo riders. That's the winter hobby here. Everybody has a stylish skidoo. Then they went all at the weekends in the forests and have fun in the powder. Crazy! Unfortunetly it's really expensive to rent such a great vehicle.
But wahtever!!! Doing sking was such a fun after the first kilometers the first sweat runs over your body. The feeling to be outside by under minus 20 degrees and to sweat it's so nice. To be actve and move in the nature is super. I liked it more than snowboarding. So we walked over 7 kilometers through the forest. Than we arrived a frozen lake. There it was time for a break and some tropical fruits! Crazy world!!! After that we went back to the camper. It was so funny to fall in the snow :).

We enjoyed the time.

It was so nice.
Back in the car we had a nice hot tea. As we drove back in the city we saw an amazing sunset over the Okanagon valley. Without words
